The ZEROWASTE project is dedicated to designing innovative systems that can be deployed in remote infrastructures or operational fields. These systems aim to efficiently manage and dispose of individual military equipment waste while simultaneously recovering and repurposing CO2.
By utilizing advanced biotechnologies, the project facilitates the cultivation of photosynthetic microalgae, which are used to produce fresh food and nutraceuticals.
The project focuses on creating a modern, sustainable, and eco-friendly energy system by converting wood-based waste into renewable biofuel (pyrolysis oil) through cutting-edge thermal processes.
This comprehensive approach addresses waste management challenges and supports the transition toward a circular and low-emission military economy.
The ZEROWASTE project uses advanced biotechnologies to produce energy and food for military personnel.
